The Foyer Sofa is characterized by the interplay between wood and upholstery and the backrest has an almost floating appearance. Simple yet expressive, the iconic Foyer Sofa unites function with form. Foyer Series was exclusively created by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Radiohuset in Copenhagen in 1945.
Assembled from three parts of solid oak, the Foyer Sofa, designed in 1945 by Vilhelm Lauritzen, is the result of simple Danish design and meticulous craftsmanship. Reworked to meet modern needs for function and comfort, the timeless design features a gently tapered frame and expertly tailored upholstery in leather with handmade buttons. The unique piece is now available to a wider audience for the very first time.
