Run by the Orioli Family – nowadays by the brothers Edi and Dino – the company has revolutionized the concept of solar shading by bringing the Italian design inside structures that were previously used only as shelter from the sun.

Since the patent of the first dome awning, indeed, Pratic solutions have been steadily evolved in the name of open-air culture by creating advanced coverings able to enhance the outdoors in any season and that put the individual and its well-being at heart of design and of ongoing research and development activity.

Thanks to a globally distributed dealer network, the company brings at any latitude the quality of its custom-made structures, 100% made in Italy, which have been conceived to offer the best usage performances and to be completely separated and recycled once they reach the end of their life cycle.

The entire production process, featuring the use of green energy and renewable raw materials only, is integrated within the company’s premises: 27 thousand squared meters of design and sustainability, which have been housing a zero-impact coating plant since 2018, designed to customize each product with certified, nontoxic and highly performant paints.

At the headquarters surrounded by the Friulian hills and celebrated by the most renowned architecture magazines, Pratic has over 300 co-workers involved in the realization of what are much more than simple awnings and pergolas, yet rooms for authentic well-being, achieved through innovative and conscious technological choices.
