Concept
The Clark is a task lamp that pushes the limits of form without sacrificing functionality. Using cut and bent sheet brass, a structure and a shade are created. An angled marble block anchors this brass form to create a subtle play of angles throughout the lamp. The two surfaces of the shade both block and reflect the lamp’s light source, casting an even wash of light on any table. Echoing the shape of a classic desk lamp, the Clark seamlessly blends the adventurous and the familiar.
